BNP Paribas mobilises to tackle COVID-19

Business Continuity Plans have never been so central to the concerns of businesses. They were executed in record time thanks to the mobilisation of our teams and it demonstrated the extent to which our organisations are flexible and how they put the safety of their employees and customers at the heart of their concerns. Even though this health crisis has kept us physically away from our teams for a while, it will have helped us reinforce bonds around an unfailing sense of solidarity as well as strengthening our cohesion and ability to adapt. I wish to thank all the support entities that work behind the scenes to ensure our safety and comfort and who provide us with the necessary tools to enable us, wherever we are, at the “front“ or the “back” of the bank, to continue working serenely with the same level of commitment.

We are entering a second phase of the epidemic, and I cannot help but be impressed by the fantastic commitment and dedication of all BNP Paribas Group teams in China. I first contacted my bank on 18 March. Three days later, I had the first documents to fill out, with all necessary explanations given over the phone. My application was processed quickly, and less than a month later I signed the documents for a stateguaranteed loan. I felt supported. I’m an ‘ordinary’ customer, with an ‘ordinary’ business.
